Transcend where you are, be in the moment, and learn what it has to offer. Never fight the opportunity - just learn.

CognitiveGrace was born to improve the world and strengthen those who feel weak, wounded, or discouraged. My skill set and experience help and support those needing change, direction, and healing. I am passionate about helping those struggling with anxiety and self-imposed boundaries that inhibit their ability to overcome life’s obstacles.

I also work with leaders and professionals concerned about their privacy and need professional security. I help leadership and collective staff within the workplace to build a cohesive work environment. I have had success working with individuals and businesses to understand behaviors and remove obstacles in the way of success.

Being a lifelong learner, I hold three master’s degrees. The first is a Master of Science in Information Assurance with a CISSP Certification in Cyber Security. The next is a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. The most recent degree is a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology. These degrees enhance my ability to help others find resolution and peace of mind and work with businesses and non-profits to create and manage healthy working relationships. Mental Health Counseling and Forensic Psychology establish a balanced understanding of conscious and subconscious behavior. Mental health counseling provides expertise in counseling techniques and methodologies. At the same time, forensic psychology brings more of a legal and quantifiable understanding of behavior. Information Assurance provides professional knowledge of protecting information from cybercriminals in digital and analog formats.

Change Your Brain With Danny Lain

Success requires a foundation of failure.” - Danny Lain

I love walking with others and have a deep passion for people and genuine hope to foster a more peaceful and healthy life for those around me. My experience includes thirty-plus years in teaching. I hold an M.Ed. from LeTourneau University and have twenty-five plus years of experience supporting and mentoring others through ministry service. My unique skill set and perspective allow me to help others navigate their daily lives. My experience includes mentoring and guiding others through life circumstances, crisis, depression, anxiety, loss, and decision making.

Over the years, my call to teach children has morphed into a call to support the whole family unit. I believe that parents need support, encouragement, and empowerment. I am currently seeking certification as a TBRI® Practioner. Currently, I have educational training in TBRI® Trust Based Relational Intervention®, which is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention designed to meet the complex needs of children. I understand children who struggle within and without the classroom due to trauma, learning difficulties, and social-emotional issues.

This experience and knowledge permit me to support both adults and children affected by trauma from events such as death to adoption, and it provides me with great insight into adult pain and struggles to allow the client an opportunity to process and heal. Reframing thoughts and learning to be mindful have brought my clients success in this area.
